Autism Berkshire: Online Understanding Your Benefits Rights Workshop (DLA)

Event Details

Find out about your rights to claim benefts, particularly Disability Living Allowance (DLA), for children aged up to 15, who have been diagnosed as autistic.

Please note that these workshops are for Berkshire residents with autistic children – we regret that we are not able to offer advice to people from neighbouring counties, due to funding rules.

These free workshops are led by Autism Berkshire’s benefits service manager Kevin Jackson, who has extensive experience of supporting families with claims and will include detailed advice on the how to complete the application form and what supporting evidence to include when making a claim for DLA.

If more than one parent or carer from your family, such as a grandparent, wants to attend, please book a separate ticket for them.

For more information about the workshop or support from our Benefits Service, email or call 01189 594 594 (option 2) and leave a voicemail with your contact details.

  • These workshops are supported by Reading Borough Council’s New Directions College adult education service.
